Henry Behnen
Partner

Content legal advice is more than just spotting issues and listing out risks.  It's finding the least intrusive way to protect the creative vision.

Henry Behnen has been practicing IP and entertainment law for 25 years.

At Viacom and Paramount, Henry eventually co-led the BALA Content Legal team, helping internal clients and legal partners across all Paramount brands.  His work involved scripted and unscripted legal risk problem-solving, partnering and advising on transactional matters, and helping clients spanning from general counsel to on-set production designers find solutions for content risks.

At Paramount Henry's work spanned over a hundred productions, tracking the shift to streaming and digital content, the CBS and Skydance mergers, and most recently cutting-edge AI issues.

Prior to his work at Paramount, Henry worked on IP litigation at Schiff Hardin LLP (now ArentFox Schiff).
